Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

Fambrace (“we”, “us”) helps families coordinate care for an aging parent across our website and our iOS and Android apps (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed Fambrace to hold sensitive information carefully and to share it only with the family members you choose.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name and email address when you create an account.
  • Care information you enter — care profiles for the people you look after and the details you add: medical conditions, allergies, medications, appointments, visit notes, tasks, documents you upload, family-feed updates, and emergency contacts. This can include health-related information.
  • Family sharing data — the emails or phone numbers you use to invite family members and the role you assign them.
  • Device & notification data — a push-notification token so we can send reminders and alerts to your browser or device, and basic technical logs.
  • Usage analytics — limited, privacy-respecting product analytics (e.g. which features are used) to improve the Service.
  • Payment information — if you buy a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card details. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use your information

  • To provide the Service and keep your family's care organized.
  • To send appointment reminders and notifications you've asked for.
  • To power AI features you choose to use — for example turning your notes into a clear visit summary, checking for medication interactions, or the “Smart Add” intake. Only the text you submit for that feature is processed.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

AI processing

When you use an AI feature, the specific text you submit is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the result and returned to you. This is informational only and is not medical advice. Your content is not used to train AI models.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With family members you invite, according to the role (Admin, Contributor, or Viewer) you give them.
  • With service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: Supabase (database & authentication), Anthropic (AI features), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), and PostHog (analytics).
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users.

An Emergency Card link you generate is a deliberate, time-limited, view-only share of critical details; anyone with that link can view it until it expires or you revoke it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is enforced by per-row security rules so each person only sees the profiles they're authorized for. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can reach it.

Retention & deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete a care profile at any time, which removes its associated data. To delete your account and associated personal data, contact us at support@fambrace.com and we will process your request.

Your choices

  • Turn notifications on or off from your device or browser settings.
  • Access, correct, or delete information you've entered.
  • Request account deletion or a copy of your data by contacting us.

Children

Fambrace is intended for adults coordinating care. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the app.
